Anyone got a better understanding on the whole 31 talent tree stuff in cata? is that gna be good or bad for pvp'ers trying to mix pve and pvp talents? it might be a smaller build but its surpsingly confusing.

At level 10 youare forced to choose a spec, for example, a screen will pop up saying "Arms, Fury, Protection", once you click a spec you must then spend 31 points into this tree, you cannont spend any points in other trees until those 31 are spent. The last 10 points can be spent anywhere.

They did this so players wouldnt end up with huge trees, also because of PvP, players would have strange specs, like a resto druid speccing Charge, so Blizz had to push these talents farther into he tree, leaving crappy talents at the bottom (if you check out your tree right now, youll find most abilities you havent specced are near the bottom).

Also, once you choose your spec at level 10 you will gain new abilites, like, maybe a feral druid will get Charge at level 15, instead of having to spec it, now there is no other way to get this ability, they can take it out of the tree.

It wont really be bad for PvP'ers, Blizz wanted to take out cookie cutter specs, but that is impossible, basically there will be a PvP spec and a PvE spec, every player will basically have the exact same spec.
